Not able to Make Effective Start Date Read-Only on Request New Position Redwood Page.

In our current RUI pages we have made the "Effective Start Date" field Read-Only and also defaulted it to Today's Date.

In redwood business rules there is no ability to make the "Effective Start Date" read-only, this allows managers to change the date as desired and is a change in experience.

Is there any possibility of allowing the flexibility of making the field Read-only? Is this part of any future enhancement?
