Why assets in subinventory location are restricted in Logical Hierarchy

Summary:

We are delivering Maintenance Cloud for a Defense contractor, its an SAP replacement programme.

We have a requirement to batch multiple assets into the same maintenance program. Typically Firearms and other assets. The planned inspection are also contracted and the suppliers are called out to do the job on the same day for cost efficiency.

Logical Hierarchy and Asset Routes meet the requirement however the Hierarchy Navigator screen doesnt let us add the assets in subinventory location. This is a genuine requirement as the firearms are stored in subinventory unless they are on trials.

Any future release would allow the inclusion of inventory assets in the logical hierarchy?
