US OPTE accumulation transition date options

Summary:

We are planning to transition to OPTE effective our first regular check in April which is April 10 for the pay period March 22-April 4. What date does Oracle recommend to be used when QP's are run daily?

We run daily QuickPays (hours missed or terminations as examples) and use the prior pay period. If we enable OPTE on March 21 or 22 and use March 22 for the earnings accumulation transition date (day after earned date from prior pay period) it was noticed in testing that any QP's run the two weeks before payroll it was run with OPTE, not Vertex. We have considered the Quarterly reporting may be "cleaner" if we transition April checks with OPTE.
