Locking Goal Tasks

During the Redwood for HCM Office Hours on Feb 26, I was asked if we can lock down goal tasks. Oracle Cloud HCM allows locking performance goals and associated tasks through the Performance Template Task configuration , which restricts editing by workers or managers during specific phases, such as when a performance document is in an approval workflow. Goals can be locked by disabling updates in the performance document task flow or using the HCM Lockdown Framework.

Key Mechanisms to Lock Goal Tasks:
- Performance Process Flow Setup: Within the performance template, you can define tasks (e.g., Worker Self-Evaluation, Manager Evaluation) and set restrictions to prevent editing of goals during those phases.
