External Transaction Entered Does Not Appear as a System Transaction in the Reconciliation Screen

We created a fund transfer transaction from Bank Account A to Bank Account B using an External Transaction.

• Cash Account: Bank Account A
• Offset Account: Bank Account B

The withdrawal from Bank Account A is displayed as a system transaction in the reconciliation screen.
However, the deposit to Bank Account B is not displayed as a system transaction.

Please note that the accounting entry for the External Transaction has already been created and successfully posted to the General Ledger.

Is this the expected behavior according to the system design?

In the case of a fund transfer between bank accounts, is it required to process the transaction using the “Create Bank Account Transfer” function instead of an External Transaction?
