Scheduling error for PTO Model Item

Summary:

We are receiving the following error when we schedule a sales order for a PTO Model item.
"Order promising didn't schedule one or more fulfillment lines in the group. Review the issue and submit the request again. (DOO-2685017)"
Note - Our PTO Model structure contains a PTO Option Class within which we have a Kit Item as one of the options.
We also see that the Kit within this PTO Option class explodes it's components on the Sales Order as intended. However we receive the above error when we try scheduling the order line.
Need to understand the reason for such an error and ways and means to avoid the same. Any info or guidelines on this will be helpful.
