ORC – “Number of Openings” not editable on Draft job requisition

Summary:

Hi everyone, In Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) I’m unable to edit the Number of Openings field on a Draft job requisition or while creating the requisition either. The field is visible in Details>Basic Info of the Requisition but not editable.

Details / what I’ve checked:

  • Requisition status: Draft
  • Field behavior: Visible but not editable
  • Requisition is (if known): Position-based
  • User role: (Recruiter / Hiring Manager / HR Specialist)

Questions:-

  1. In ORC, can Number of Openings be locked in Draft due to role/security privileges? If so, which privileges/roles control edit access?
  2. Can the field be set to read-only via Transaction Design Studio / page rules by phase/status, requisition type, or business unit?
