Payroll run post retroactive run processes more payment

Summary:

Payroll run post retroactive run processes more payment

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

Hi Team,

Greetings!

This is about an issue where the payroll run post retroactive processing ends up handling more payment.

Below is the case-

Full Payroll (on cycle run) is completed for the pay period 12/13/2025 to 12/26/2025 (Pay date 12/31/2025) There are changes made to the completed payroll (e.g. a back dated Vacation entry) As part of off cycle payroll for the same period, we run retro pay process followed by payroll In this case the retro pay process correctly computed the differential and the element entry is created in the same pay period Now while running the off cycle payroll (after retro) the system makes Vacation Payment in retro + another payment in the payroll run

Howdy, Stranger!
