Not able to update score for completed status offerings

Summary:

I am not to update score for the offering whose status is completed in the UI and also through HDL.

When I am trying to update in the UI Score is not editable.
Path : home > my client groups > leaning > learners >learning assignments > person[search person] > manage activities

Let me know this is system limitation.Kindly assist me is there any other ways to update score for completed status.
