Is there a way to not have to re-complete an expense report when a global transfer occurs?

Hi All,

Is there any way to avoid having our users re-do an expense report from scratch after a global transfer has occurred on his/her profile?

For example,

  1. User creates expense report - March 10th
  2. It is approved by his/her manager - March 13th
  3. A global transfer is done on the user who created the report - March 14th
  4. Our expense team runs the ESS job, "Process Expense Reimbursements and Cash Advances" - March 16th
  5. Expense team now sees that the report is in error with the error code "Inactive Person"

Is there a way to do something in the backend to tie it back to the new active profile that was created as a result of the global transfer?
