Location-Level SUI Registrations within a Single TRU
Summary:
Client has in total 6 legal employers/6 FEIN. All of the six legal employers are also a Tax Reporting Unit (TRU). The federal tax reporting happens through these 6 TRUs i.e. W2's are generated for all the Regency employees against the 6 TRU's.
However, in case of SUI reporting, out of 6 TRU's, 5 TRU's are having their own SUI Registration and SUI Rate but for 1 TRU (Clinical Consulting),
There are a total of 69 locations under this TRU. 32 locations report SUI under 1 SUI registration number and rate but remaining 37 of these locations have their own SUI Registration Number and SUI Rate.
