Auto Apply receipts not happening in case of Installaments

We are testing the AutoMatch functionality in Oracle Fusion Cloud Receivables using the “Apply Receipts Using AutoMatch” scheduled process.

Scenario:

  • A transaction is created with multiple installments, each having different due dates.
  • The customer makes a partial payment equal to one installment amount.

Expected Behavior:The Apply Receipts Using AutoMatch program should automatically apply the receipt to the corresponding open installment based on the due date or open balance.

Actual Behavior:The receipt remains unapplied, and the AutoMatch job is not matching the receipt with the transaction installment.

Questions:

  1. Does AutoMatch support automatic application for installment-based transactions when only one installment amount is received?
