Identify Work Pattern during Leave Period

We are building an HCM Extract and need to determine which work pattern an employee falls under during a leave period. For example, an employee is assigned to a work schedule that contains three different work patterns. If the employee applies for leave, we want to identify which specific work pattern was applicable to the employee during that leave period.

If it's not feasible using HCM Extract then is there another way to retrieve this information, either through a Fast Formula or via BIP reporting? Please let us know if any approach is available.
