FAQ: Upcoming Changes to Eloqua TLS Certificate Management for Integration Endpoints

edited Mar 16, 2026 9:08PM in Eloqua

What’s Changing

Eloqua is updating how TLS certificates are managed for integration endpoints on *.eloqua.com and *.p0*.eloqua.com. The industry is moving to much shorter TLS certificate lifetimes, which means leaf certificates (the domain‑level certificates used by Eloqua endpoints) will rotate far more frequently than before.

Beginning in 2026, public TLS certificates will shift to a 200‑day maximum validity, followed by 100‑day and eventually 47‑day lifetimes. Because of this:

  • The 200‑day rotation in 2026 will be the final time Eloqua pre‑publishes a certificate.
  • After 2026, Eloqua will no longer pre‑publish or distribute leaf certificates for *.eloqua.com
