Redwood Experience: Change in Default Position-to-Assignment Grade Synchronization Behavior

We’ve observed a fundamental change in how Grade is defaulted from Position to Assignment in the Redwood Experience, compared to Responsive pages. This change appears to introduce a fallback to Job → Grade when the Position Grade is blank, which did not occur previously.

This behavior may have significant downstream impacts for customers using Position Management and relying on Position synchronization to control assignment data.

  • Assignment Grade is synced only from the Grade on the Position
  • If Position Grade is blank → no Grade is populated on the Assignment
