Redwood vs Classic UI | An Open Discussion

Hi Experts,

We have recently enabled several Redwood pages and would like to share our observations while also gathering feedback from the community.

Compared to the Classic UI in Oracle Fusion HCM, the Redwood UI is significantly more modern, visually appealing, and aligned with a search driven, intuitive design. It clearly delivers a more futuristic and engaging user interface.

However, from our experience, there are some concerns from a user experience (UX) perspective:

  • Performance: Redwood UI appears to be slower than the Classic UI in certain cases, with some pages taking noticeably longer to load.
  • Personalization Limitations: Certain configurations and personalizations that were possible in the Classic UI are currently not supported in Redwood.
