Journey Template Security - person searches not returning

We want to allow our contact center to view and assign journeys to employees who may call in to them. We have created a specific role to use in the Journey Template security section to assign the management of this journey and set it to be able to 'assign' and 'view' for others (see screengrabs below). The users assigned our new role do have the 'Assign' button available to them, however we are not getting any results in the 'Select a Person' drop down.
