How to capture accurate labor duration when an activity is completed in multiple sessions in OFS?

A technician starts an activity at 10:00 AM and works until 12:00 PM (2 hours). Due to an emergency, the technician leaves the site and later returns at 5:00 PM to continue the work, completing it at 7:00 PM (another 2 hours).

In this scenario, the total actual working time is 4 hours, excluding the break period.

How should this scenario be handled in Oracle Field Service to ensure that only the actual working time (4 hours) is recorded instead of the full elapsed duration between start and end times?

Also, how can we ensure that when the activity is finally completed, these 4 hours are correctly reflected as labor charges in the Work Order debrief in Oracle Fusion?
