Time Calculation Rule formula output displays as "Hours" instead of "Unit"

Hello

We have a Time Calculation Rule formula that calculates a Meal allowance. The formula outputs a value of 1 to an output variable out_tiffin_allowance(declared as EMPTY_NUMBER_NUMBER).

The Time Attribute mapped to this output is configured with the Payroll Time Type set to Unit (not Hours). When we manually enter the Meal Tiffin on the timecard, it correctly displays as "1 units".However, when the value is calculated by the formula, it displays as "1 hours" in the View Calculated Time screen.

What we have verified:

  • The Payroll Time Type for Meal Tiffin is configured as Unit
  • The Rule Template output mapping is correctly pointing to the Meal Tiffin attribute
