Ability to customize "Stop Travel" screen to add Comments

Hi Team,
We have a requirement to be able to customize "Stop Travel" screen, similar to "Suspend Activity" screen. We need to add a mandatory field named "Comments/Remarks" so that user will be enforced to fill this field while stopping travel. This is need to know the reason for stopping travel.
Can this screen customization option be provided or any workaround to enforce user to fill remarks/comments after clicking on Stop Travel.
We currently don't have requirement to communicate with the end customer but as part of future enhancements we will be sending communications to the end-customer when Technician starts the travel or when he is on its way. So, during that time if Technician stops the travel, we will need functionality to inform the end-customer why the travel is stopped. Will that be possible and how.
