Error with Credit Memo transfer in Contract Management

Summary:

I received this error:

The invoice wasn't transferred to receivables because the creation sign isn't valid on the receivables transaction type Credit Memo.

This invoice contains positive and negative values on the invoice lines. You must amend the contract to select a transaction type with the creation sign specified as Any Sign. You must create such a receivables transaction type, if it doesn't exist.

I went to the original invoice and clicked 'Create Credit' and then canceled the invoice. I have not experienced this issue on any other invoices with this contract. The transaction type should not cause this issue.
