Metric Threshold Notifications - most useful alerts?

Summary:

Following are the alerts we have set up.

The top 4 on the list typically never fires for us - which is a good thing.

However, we get a lot of false positive alerts with the OBJECT LOCK - DEADLOCK COUNT. By the time we get to the locks, many a time they have self-healed.

Ideally, we are looking for an alert mechanism where any user action or process takes longer than 5 minutes.

We are going to try the LONG RUNNING TASK - PROCESS TIME alert shown below to see if it can help us.

Wondering what have you guys set up as far as system performance parameters go like - for example - Wait Time, # of Locks, Object Locked Time that you find most useful and the support team is super happy with you about. The false positive alerts is noisy, less useful.
