UK TYE 26/27: Evaluate Absences not re-processing open absence to use new statutory payment rates

1. UK TYE 26/27 Legislative Update Guidance (KA1327) states that as part of SOY Evaluate Absences should be run to process open-ended absence to ensure that the new statutory payment rates are used from the relevant dates. New statutory family rates apply from 05/04/2026 and the new statutory sickness rate from 06/04/2026.
   
2. KB90573 gives specific guidance on running Evaluate Absence for open absences based on using an effective date of 1 day prior to the earliest absence start. It recommends that processing is restricted to groups of employees impacted. We amended the SQL supplied in this guidance to also report the absence type and person number. We then created person selection formulas based on this information to effectively achieve running the process per relevant absence type.
