March 2026 US Monthly Statutory Data Update Issue - Vertex Users

Summary:

Oracle has announced an issue with the March 2026 US Monthly Statutory Data Update (MDU) impacting customers using Oracle Fusion HCM United States Payroll and Geography, including those integrated with Vertex.

The originally scheduled March MDU did not perform as expected and will be re-released via supplemental maintenance. For production environments, this update is scheduled for March 31, 2026 which is a Tuesday when our payroll is processing.

Customers using Vertex are required to complete the following steps after the update is applied:

  1. Run “Load Geographies for US”
  2. Review tax changes using the Statutory Calculation Guide for the United States
  3. Run “Load Payroll Tax Information for US” for each applicable LDG
