Redwood Replenishment Planning – Hide “Publish PAR Policies” Action

Summary:

We are implementing Redwood Replenishment Planning, specifically the Compare Policies page for PAR policies.

Business requirement:

PAR policies must be published only through an ESS process, not through a user‑initiated UI action. Publishing is centrally controlled in our organization, and any accidental publish from the UI can impact all PAR policies.

We’ve validated the following:

• VB Studio does not show any option to hide this user action
• Removed the publish privilege (MSC_PUBLISH_PLAN_DATA_PRIV), but the “Publish PAR Policies” action is still visible in the UI

Question:

• Is there a supported way to hide or suppress the “Publish PAR Policies” action
