Hi Team,

We are currently in the process of configuring domain branding in Oracle Responsys, which involves updating NS (Name Server) records to delegate a subdomain to Oracle.

We would like some clarification regarding ownership, control, and security implications post NS delegation.

Specifically, we need guidance on the following:

  1. Domain Ownership & Control
    • After delegating NS records to Oracle, does the client retain full ownership of the domain/subdomain at the registrar level?
    • Who has effective control over DNS entries for the delegated subdomain?
  2. DNS Management Responsibilities
    • Will Oracle fully manage DNS records (SPF, DKIM, tracking links, etc.) for the delegated subdomain?
