Is there any way to make whole process of lock/unlock entities faster for approvals ?

Currently after each change in entity structure we need to unlock and then lock entities period by period what is time consuming as currently we need to go back five years. but in the future it will be more and more periods to go back and unlock/lock

I tried option Lock and Unlock Approval Unit and Approval Unit Hierarchy via Data Forms and Action Menus but it only is supported in forms 1.0 while in forms 2.0 action menus added are not visible. such solution is a little faster as we do not need to change periods, only years but as I mentioned it is currently not supported by forms 2.0.
