Does OCI Bastion allow SSH access to instances that are in different but peered VCNs (local peering in same region/tenancy, remote peering in different regions/tenancies)

The documentation says that OCI Bastion is limited to resources in the same VCN, but I don't see the reason for the limitation if the traffic is routed to a different VCN via DRG, and OCI Bastion acts as a jump host here.
