Unable to apply Unearned Discount when matching is through AutoMatch

Regarding Unearned Discounts: A scenario where discount due date is already gone, and customer still pays discounted amount, system does not apply discount automatically which is expected functionality. when using Automatch for such receipts, I am unable to update Unearned discount and system throws below error:
