Don't want archive specific process transactions and want to archive upon required between 2 dates

Summary:

we don't want to archive the transactions for the only process to "Manage Individual Compensation"we have to keep the transactions as we want and archive when required.  (basically, our financial year 1st Jan - 31st Dec) business wants to keep the transactions until they finish the reconciliation and reporting completion in the next year most like in January and then will archive the transaction for the last year based on date parameter.
