Business Scenario

  • A user creates and submits a manual Intercompany transaction.
  • The transaction enters approval using BPM task FinFunTransactionApproval.
  • Approval workflow is configured using Parallel Participant.
  • Before any approver takes action, the submitting user withdraws the transaction from the approval workflow.

Observed Behavior

  • The approval tasks for approvers move to WITHDRAWN status.
  • However, the parent approval task still completes with outcome = APPROVE
