User Groups vs Global Access Groups in Oracle Learning

in Learning 3 comments

Hi All,

I’m hoping to get some clarification and validation of my understanding regarding User Groups vs. Global Access Groups in Oracle Learning.

Currently, I can create and edit User Groups, which I assign to Self-Paced Learning items under the Audience tab to control learner access. I can also create (but not edit) Global Access Groups, which I use with legacy courses via the Learner > Access Group tab to manage course visibility.

I have several questions regarding how these two group types are intended to be used:

  1. Am I using these group types as intended, based on Oracle’s design and best practices?

Howdy, Stranger!
