India Localization - Tax Invoice Number based on Legal Reporting Unit

Summary:

We have enterprise structure for Indian Entity, which includes one legal entity and one business unit with two locations (Chennai and Mumbai), each having distinct GST registration numbers. Both locations require the ability to generate accounts receivable invoices with separate gapless invoice sequences to comply with GST regulations. We will have the invoices which will be coming from different sources like Order Management, Projects and Intercompany.

We have define a Legal Reporting Unit for Mumbai and Chennai and define the fiscal document sequence by Legal Reporting Unit wise. So any Invoice which is created manually in AR based on selecting correct Tax Registration Number - Tax Invoice number is coming correctly.
