Labor Resource Units calculation in Production scheduling

Summary:

We have Work centers defined with Equipment and Labor resources such that every operation uses 1 Equipment resource and 1 Labor resource for a work order.

  1. The Labor resource is defined to have 5 units every shift
  2. The Equipment Resource has 1 Unit every shift
  3. There are three shifts per day

We are testing out a scenario to check how PS schedules the work orders when the Labor resource capacity is reduced in a day from 5 units to 1 unit every shift. But as we reduce or increase the Labor resource units in a day, the Number of Resource units we see in the PS gets changed inversely proportionally.

Howdy, Stranger!
