DFF not populating via defaulting in Request a New Position page in Redwood

I’m facing an issue with a Descriptive Flexfield (DFF) on the Request a New Position page in Redwood.

I have a field “Global Job” (DFF under Positions), where I’ve defined a Value Expression to derive its value from another field “Global Job” (DFF under Job).

This approach works as expected on other pages/transactions, where the Global Job field updates correctly when the Job is changed.

However, on the Request a New Position page, the behavior is inconsistent:

• When the Job field is filled out/changed, the Global Job field remains empty
• The value is not populated correctly at any point
