Is there ability to rename field names in VBS.

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

We have a requirement to rename the "Code" to "Position Code" and "Department" to "Cost Center". Unable to do this using UI text as it is impacting a lot of pages and not able to isolate the change to only this page.
