Matrix manager and keeping data updated with Manager Self Service (MSS)
Summary:
How are other clients keeping the matrix manager field updated? e.g. when a manager changes, the matrix manager may also need to change.
Manager changes are typically managed via Manager Self Service (MSS). It doesn't seem like the current workflow for Change Manager provides for the ability to allow for changing a matrix manager.
If this is not available, then the alternative would be that the data has to be updated manually via person management - which is not efficient and doesn't promote self service.
Any guidance on whether this is available via MSS and/or how other clients using Matrix Manager are handling this would be appreciated.
