Enabling Project Copy and Paste Feature in Oracle Primavera Cloud

Existing Behavior

Currently, Oracle Primavera Cloud does not provide an option to copy and paste (Duplicate) projects within or across workspaces.

  • The only available option is “Move Project”, which shifts the project instead of duplicating it
  • There is no duplication capability similar to Oracle Primavera P6
  • As an alternative, users attempt export/import, but this approach has a critical limitation:

Risk data is NOT supported during export and import

  • All identified risks, mitigation plans, and risk registers are completely lost
  • Risk scoring, probability-impact matrices, and linked activities are not retained
  • This results in an incomplete and unreliable project copy
