Employee Salary update based on Position Synchronization -Grade Update

Summary:

Hi All,

We updated the Valid Grades for one of the Position as of 01-Jan-2026 from Grade 08 to Grade 09

I can see the employee tagged to that Position is automatically updated from Synchronization from Position action with valid Grade and Step but the Salary is not updated as of new grade and Step rate.

When we try to do the Change Assignment action as well then Salary is not getting defaulted with new grade and step value.

How do we sync salary for employee for which grade is updated in the assignment as a part of Position Synchronization?

Please help.
