Can we have a seperate reject status when reqs are filled

We have our process set up to automatically send a rejection letter to external applicants when they are rejected. We want to send a different letter when the req is filled, but since the status is the same whether you reject or fill/cancel a req, they end up getting two letters. The standard reject and the req filled letter.

Does anyone know if there's a way to set up a seperate rejection status for filled/canceled reqs?

Thanks,

Stephanie
