What is the recommended approach to config non‑seeded EDI documents(846,204,214,940) in OracleCloud?

Hello everyone,

We are implementing EDI integrations in Oracle Fusion Cloud and have a requirement to support several EDI documents that are not seeded in Oracle Cloud applications.

Examples of such documents include:

• 204 – Motor Carrier Load Tender
• 214 – Transportation Carrier Shipment Status Message
• 846 – Inventory Inquiry Outbound
• 867 – Product Transfer and Resale Report
• 870 – Distributor Order Status Report Outbound
• 888 – Item Maintenance
• 940 – Warehouse Shipping Order
• 944 – Warehouse Stock Transfer Receipt Advice
• 945 – Warehouse shipping advice Inbound
• 947 – Warehouse Inventory Adjustment Advice
• 956 – Retail Trade Initiation

While Oracle Cloud supports commonly used EDI transactions through CMK, these specific documents do not appear to have out‑of‑the‑box schemas, business objects, or predefined processing flows in Fusion SCM/ERP.
