OM - Automate substitute item process in sales order

Hello guys,

We are implementing "Substitute item" functionality in OM for sales orders, we already performed the following steps:

• Item relationship
• Run collections and refresh the GOP
• Making default "Yes" value to allow substitute item at sales order level.

Everything is working, when there is not enough quantity, we can manually select the option "Substitute item" at fulfillment line level and select manually the related item and the substitute reason.

But we would like to know if there is a way to automate the process to avoid manual intervention.
