We are configuring an Onboarding Journey for Agency to Employee conversions and have added three preboarding tasks that need to be completed by the Line Manager before the employee’s start date.

Journey Allocation / Action configuration:

• Allocation Criteria: When the action record becomes effective
• Days for Initiation: 0
• Action: Add Employee Work Relationship

In the Journeys templates, the preboarding tasks are configured with Performer as ‘Line Manager’ and Owner as the ‘Initiator’.

Observed behaviour:

• Even though the task performer is configured as Line Manager, the preboarding tasks are consistently getting assigned to the Initiator of the onboarding process when the allocation criteria is met.
