How to make a URL field clickable on Contact object (Classic UI)

Hello,
We are using Oracle Sales Cloud – Classic UI.

On the Contact object, we need a custom text field called “Contact URL”, where users enter a web link (for example: https://gr.linkedin.com).

Since Classic UI does not support a URL field type, the value is displayed only as plain text.

What is the supported way to make this field clickable in Classic UI?

Is there a way using Application Composer (Web Links, Page Layout, or Groovy) to display the URL as a clickable link, or is a different approach required?
