For some bank transfers we need payee name different from the supplier name
Summary:
For bank transfers, there are now controls to check that the payee name must match the bank account holder’s name.
If there is a discrepancy, the transfer will be rejected by the bank, which has happened to us recently.
For landlords, it is common for the supplier’s name (the company with which we signed the lease = Payee) to differ from the account holder’s name (name of the property management company = Bank Account Name).
Therefore, when we need to pay a property management company , we do not want to include the Payee name (supplier name) in the transfer, but instead use their bank account name.
