Candidate Cancels Interview but Calendar Shows “Recruiter Cancelled”

We are observing an issue where, when a candidate cancels a scheduled interview through the candidate portal, the system processes the cancellation correctly, but the calendar notification (Outlook/ICS) sent to the interviewer indicates that the recruiter cancelled the meeting instead of the candidate (in this case, I am the recruiter).

We would like to understand if this is the expected behavior, or if there is any configuration change or known fix available to ensure that the correct stakeholder (candidate) is reflected in the cancellation notification and want to know who exactly cancelled the interview. Because, after cancellation the scheduled interview from candidate dashboard is removed.
