issue when changing assignment schedule

in Human Capital Management

Summary:

During the Change assignment, employee is receiving the following error when updating the Assignment section: Couldn't validate the assignment query collection EmploymentAssignment is closed and unable to submit the transaction. We have recieved 26A Maintenance Pack in April.

Where there isn't an error code, I am not finding a solution in the knowledge base. What is causing this?
