Recommended way to manage annual dividend compensation without creating a new items each year?

In Compensation, is there a recommended way to manage annual dividend compensation without having to create a new compensation item (for Total Compensation Statement) every year?

In our case, the dividend logic and eligibility largely remain same and dividends are paid for last three years, but we still end up creating a new item each year, which feels repetitive and adds extra functional effort during every compensation cycle. We’re curious if others have successfully reused the same compensation item instead of recreating it annually. Would be great to hear what’s worked for others.
