SmartView Balance Analysis with GL Self-Service Permissions

I am testing SmartView operations using a role that has only the GL self-service privilege “ORA_GL_SELF_SERVICE_REPORTING_DUTY”.
The only other role assigned is “Employee”.
I have granted the General Ledger data access set.
I have not configured AFF's security settings.

In terms of permissions, it appears that the role has the necessary balance reference privileges to view SmartView, but the message “#Noaccess” is displayed.
As a test, I added the GL_access_set to this role’s security policy, but there was no change.

Is it not possible to use SmartView with this permission?
