Why can I not back date an offer far enough back when creating the offer?

Summary:

We have a scenario where we need to create an offer for an few employees that needs to be backdated to 4/18/2026; however, when going into the Proposed Start Date for each employee, we can only back so far, and not back to 4/18/2026 on any offer. How can I set this so that we can take both Proposed Start Dates to 4/18/2026?
